Twenty Five Doors ‘Keen Eye Pick’ for November

Every month, I cast my eye over the Twenty Five Doors wine club and nominates my ‘keen eye pick‘. These are unique offers directly from wineries that aren’t available anywhere else.

Pack of the Month

Hart & Hunter Italian Delights – Hunter Valley, NSW

2017 Black Series Dr B’s Fiano
2017 Black Series Sangiovese

Hart & Hunter  is one of the Hunter Valley’s undiscovered gems with an enticing cellar door and a focus on single vineyard wines. They’ve stepped away from the Hunter’s dynamic duo (semillon & shiraz) with these immensely quaffable Italian varieties. Fiano hails from Campania. Its fresh, citrus-bright flavours are perfect with almost any seafood. Sangiovese is the key grape of Chianti with savoury flavours and the acid-etched finish is a willing partner to a wafer-thin pizza Margherita.  The Sangiovese deserves a light chill on a summer’s day.
