GT WINE Magazine Top Tasting – Limestone Coast Reds

The Star Performers tasting in the August/September issue of GT WINE Magazine features the wonderfully wintry reds of South Australia’s Limestone Coast. The hub of the region in Coonawarra, its cabernet sauvignons representing the Australian varietal benchmark. But to add flesh to the frame, there’s some shiraz, merlot and some new wave reds from Coonawarra, Warttonbully and Mount Benson.

Advanced Workshop – More Pinot Please

Wednesday 29 August @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

My cellar is loaded  with top end Australian pinots – often from individual vineyard plots in the Burgundian mould. Think Hurley, Ten Minutes by Tractor, By Farr, Stonier, Montalto, Giant Steps and Oakridge. We’ll taste five brackets of three wines with a trio of masked pinots to finish – just to see if you’ve been paying attention!
