Simon Forsyth (from Ferment The Orange Wine Centre) is besotted with vermouth. I know just a little bit about ‘aromatised wine’ (as vermouth is technically known) and enjoy a Noilly Prat over ice with a slice of lemon on a hot day. On Monday 25 March, Simon and I will co-host a Vermouth night. He’ll ask the questions, I’ll fumble the answers. We’ll have a range of new wave vermouths (local and imported) and with a finale martini taste-off between Stone Pine and Four Pillars gin.
