GT WINE Magazine Top Tasting in Orange – Grenache and blends

The GT WINE Magazine tasting panel recently tasted their way through 70 Australian grenache and grenache blends – in the GSM style.  This workhorse variety is oft overlooked in the rush to pinot or adoration of shiraz. Naturally the best wines came from McLaren Vale and the Barossa – but were the pure grenache wines better than the blends? Come and taste for yourself.
